Francis Elmer Stoker passed away Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at Holy Redeemer Hospice, surrounded by his family after fighting a long battle of Prostate Cancer. He was 75.
Fran was born in Philadelphia and had been a longtime resident of Warminster, Pa. before moving to Bensalem. Fran was a longtime service manager in the 70s and 80s at Ray Swenson Lincoln Mercury before going into business for himself, doing what he loved, restoring classic cars. Fran was an avid car enthusiast who was a current member of the Philadelphia Modifiers Street Rod Club and a former long time member of the Early Ford V8 Club and the Lincoln Owners Club.
He enjoyed going to car shows, hanging out with anyone who wanted to talk about cars, building model cars, fishing and shooting at the gun range.
Francis is survived by his son, Francis Civitello (Kenneth); his daughter, Lisa Stoker; his two grandsons, Christopher and Dylan; his brother, Kenneth Stoker; his niece, Colleen; and his nephew, Andrew.
Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday morning, at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, Inc., 260 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047, with his funeral service to be celebrated at 11 a.m. His interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park.
