FARMINGTON – Anna Mae McFarland, (nee Tucker), passed away peacefully, Monday, September 11, 2017, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Rivermines, Missouri (now known as Park Hills) on March 28, 1933, to the late Henry Albert “Tuck” and Blanche Tucker. Anna Mae married the love of her live, the late Reverend Albert Lee McFarland, on May 28, 1949. She loved the Lord and readily joined Albert in his ministry. As a Pastor’s wife she sang, taught Sunday school, and served as pianist.
Anna Mae was proceeded in death by her son, Randall (Audrey) McFarland. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Linda) McFarland of Roswell, GA, Mark McFarland of Ballwin, MO, and Julie (Kent) Burgess of Ballwin, MO. Grandchildren: Charity McFarland, John Layton, Amie Burgess (Tyler) Milner, Ellie Burgess, and Samantha Burgess. Great-grandchildren: Ashleigh Robinson, Daniel McFarland, Catherine McFarland, Hannah Grace McFarland, and Blaire Rose Milner.
Anna Mae has an infectious laugh. She enjoyed telling stories and talking to people. Her hobbies included playing and teaching piano, sewing, and being with friends and family.
Services: Memorial service at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. Memorial visitation on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. Inurnment at Parkview Cemetery, Farmington, MO.
