FALL RIVER — David T. Branco, 53 of New Bedford, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, following complications from heart surgery. David was born in New Bedford, a son of Silvina (Tavares) Branco and the late Jaime T. Branco and the husband for 28 years of Maria (Alho) Branco.
David was employed by Agostini Bacon Construction Company as a laborer. David was an avid Boston Bruins fan, who enjoyed playing hockey. David cherished the time spent with his wife and sons and also his brother Ernie, his late brother Danny, Nephew Jason and close friends.
His family includes, wife: Maria R. Branco of New Bedford; 2 sons: Cory J. Branco and Jacob T. Branco both of New Bedford; brother: Ernesto Branco and his wife Maria of Acushnet; brothers-in-law: Joe Alho and his partner Darren Mury, Michael Alho and his wife Florbela; sister-in-law: Cisaltina “Tina” Branco; father-in-law: Jose Alho and mother-in-law: Alice Alho; nephew: Jason Branco; Godchildren: Aidan Lameira and Ian Lameira of New Jersey. David was the brother of the late Daniel T. Branco.
His funeral will be conducted Friday morning, 8:45 in the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian burial be celebrated in St. Mary Church, Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford at 10:00.
