Philip R. Stotelmyer, 84, of Boonsboro, Md., passed from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2017, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md.

Born on Nov. 28, 1932, in Boonsboro, he was the son of the late John L. and Phebe Alice (Miller) Stotelmyer.
