Garry V. Baldridge, 61, of Ottawa died peacefully in his home on the afternoon of Jan. 11, 2016, surrounded by his family following a short battle with cancer.
Private Memorial Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are through Mueller Funeral Home.
Garry was born Oct. 4, 1954, in DeKalb to Harry and Betty (Smith) Baldridge. He worked at Pilkington (LOF) for more than 35 years.
He is survived by his mother; four children, Richard Baldridge of Oglesby, Janice (Ben) Sterchi of Tonica, Vickie Halberg of Oglesby and Heather (Francisco) Baldridge Flores of Oglesby; 15 grandchildren, Richie, Riley, Aiden, Lindsey, Brooke, Whitney, Nick, Taylor, Cody, Brianna, Alex, Andre, Schyler, Gabriella and Kamron; one great-grandson, Jakob; two brothers, Harry Jr. of La Salle and James Michael (Janet) Baldridge of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; three sisters, Patricia “Jane” Cheatham of Lewisburg, Tenn., Becky (JB) Oakes of Sheridan and Kim(Michael) Willis, of Sierra Vista, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie, in infancy; his father; and one sister, Barbara Sipula.
