Catherine (Ochs) Keolker, 93, of Stringtown, died Sunday, January 10, 2016, at Burgin Manor in Olney.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown. Burial will follow mass in St. Joseph Cemetery in Stringtown. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.

Catherine was born June 26, 1922, in Stringtown, the daughter of Anthony and Clara (Roth) Ochs. She married Aloysius J. Koelker on April 24, 1946, in Pesotum. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1980.

Catherine “Dolly” Keolker was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In her earlier years, she and her husband owned and operated the Stringtown Store. For many years she cleaned houses for families in the area. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown. Catherine was a religious and faithful Catholic. She took pleasure in attending mass and was a caring and giving person. She would always participate in church activities such as funeral dinners and picnics, among other things. She enjoyed gardening and quilting. Catherine especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew her. 
She is survived by a daughter, Norma (Jim) Kocher, of Newton; daughter, Kathleen Ochs, of West Liberty; grandchildren, Roger Kocher and fiancée Sarah Spade, Chris J. (Jamie) Ochs, and Michael (Tami) Ochs; great-grandchildren, Christopher Jones, Andrew Ochs, Peighton Arnone, Xander Ochs, Tyler Ochs and Cambree Ochs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 11 brothers and sisters, Henry Ochs, Frank Ochs, Augustine Ochs, Ephriam Ochs, Monica Ochs, Mary Ochs, Joseph Ochs, John Ochs, Anna Reinhart, Herman Ochs, Albert Ochs, and son-in-law, Greg Ochs.

Memorials may be made to Masses or St. Joseph Parish New Building Fund.
