Mrs. Louise Jean Clough of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away on September 12, 2017. She was 75.
Mrs. Clough was born on June 30, 1942, in Bradford, Vermont to the late Urban and Ruth Ramsdell. She was raised in Vermont, but moved to Georgia in 1978. She was retired from Sony in Carrollton. She had a dynamic personality who loved life and brought fun to every event. She loved her family and friends and passionately defended them. Her laugh and love will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Cross; and her great-grandson, Christian Blain Clough.
Survivors include her sons, Raymond (Lorraine) Clough of Roopville, Georgia, and Duane Clough of Valdosta, Georgia; her daughter, Lisa Clough of Bowdon; her brother, Les (Jan) Ramsdell of Kentucky; her sister, Rae Ramsdell (George Orban) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Stuart Clough, Gwendolyn (Daniel) Bobo, and Courtney (Chris Crawford) Clough; her great-grandchildren, Ace Johnson and Payton Clough; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Bowdon Church of God.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emory University Hospital or the Vasculitis Foundation for the study of Wegener’s Granulomatosis.
