David “Dave” Michael Reher, 74, of Loganville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016.
A memorial service began at noon Monday, Jan. 18, in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Grey officiating.
Dave was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on April 29, 1941, to Charles and Martha Reher, who preceded him in death.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of Woodlake Baptist Church. Dave retired from the telecommunications industry with more than 40 years of service, most with Western Electric and Southern Bell/BellSouth. He will be missed by his family and many friends who joined him on numerous fun-filled travel adventures.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of more than 53 years, Linda Reher; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Bill Lambert and Karen and Mike “Rip” VanWinkle, and grandchildren, Casey and Kelly Lambert, all of Loganville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woodlake Baptist Church Building Fund, 3940 Highway 138, Covington, GA 30014.
