Carol Kline Fisher, 80 of Bonifay, passed from this life on January 11, 2016 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital in Chipley, Florida.
Carol was born on July 19, 1935 in New York City, New York to George Kline and Faith Rodgers. She moved to the panhandle in 1972, coming from New Jersey, and worked at Vernon Elementary School as a Teacher. She was a member of Poplar Head Independent Free Will Baptist Church. She was a Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star and a member of the Cattlemen’s Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Faith (Rodgers) Kline; husband: George Joseph Fisher; sisters: Elsie Kline, Joan Santasine.
She is survived by her son, George J. Fisher and wife Stacey of Chipley, FL; two sisters: Joyce Pfeiffer of Edison, NJ, Peggy Childers of Milton, FL; four grandchildren: George Michael Fisher, Matthew Edward Fisher, Vanessa Skinner, Bryan Whitfield; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Poplar Head Independent Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. James Pate officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Head Independent Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
