Following his employment with the Eglin Range Patrol, Bruce assisted his wife, Sharon, in managing their restaurant, Two Cousins’ Cafe, in Darlington, Florida. When not working, Bruce enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the Blue Nights mostly to raise money for charitable events and working with his tractor while his faithful dog, Sugar, was underfoot. Watching the Gators football games was also a favorite, but above all, taking care of his Two Cousins’ Cafe kids, who fondly called him “Uncle Bruce”, seemed to be one of his most favorite pastimes. But, his most cherished pastime was the time he spent with his grandchildren whom he loved and was so proud of their accomplishments. His family, extended Alford family, and the Darlington community will dearly miss him.
