Angelo Albert Albanese, Jr., 64, a Ft. Myers, FL resident since 1978, formerly of Miami, FL and Youngstown, OH passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Ft. Myers. He was born March 11, 1951 in Youngstown, OH.

Angelo was of the Catholic faith. He was a creative soul, expressing his creativity in many ways, his artwork, painting and sculpture, and his trade of cosmetology, always pleasing his clients. He had a love of food, games of chance, gardening, and mostly his family. He was a free spirit, living life his way. While life was not always the easiest for him, he was truly a phoenix, rising from the ashes multiple times. While his exterior may have seemed hard, he was a true gentle soul, often misunderstood, but always loved.

He is survived by his loving mother, Clara Albanese of Ft. Myers; two loving sisters, Karla Albanese Davis (Dennis) of Jupiter, FL and Jennifer Williams (Kenny) of Ft. Myers; as well as five nieces and nephews, Dennis, Trisha, Kristen, Jordan and Jacob.

Angelo was preceded in death by his father, Angelo Albert Albanese, Sr.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am, January 30, 2016, at St Cecilia’s Catholic Parish, 5632 Sunrise Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33919.
