Tori was born on July 17, 1977, in Vallejo, California, and went in peace on Aug. 4, 2017, at the Kaiser hospital in Vacaville. She lived her entire life in Fairfield.
She was the wife of Timothy Ridosh and the mother of eight-year-old Nicholas. She is also survived by her parents, Bill and Debby Carroll of Rio Vista; brother, Chad Carroll and wife Hien, and their daughter, Emma of Florida; half-brother Chip Nelson of New Jersey; father-in-law, Tim Ridosh; mother-in-law, Deann Beals; and brothers-in-law, Patrick and Dusty Ridosh.
Tori was born with major heart problems and endured many lifesaving heart surgeries over the years. She attended David A. Weir and Fairfield High. She went to college at San Diego State and received her teaching degree at Sonoma State. No matter the discomfort and pain she had, she enjoyed her career as a teacher. She taught at Bransford, Tolenas, Sullivan and was a sixth-grade teacher at the Public Safety Academy at Amy Blanc in Fairfield at the time of her passing.
She was an avid fan of the 49ers and enjoyed playing fantasy football and collecting football cards. She also enjoyed reading, genealogy and going to the water slides with her son.
We would like to give special thanks to the staff at NorthBay Hospital, Kaiser San Francisco and Kaiser Vacaville for all the hard work in trying to save her one more time for us. Tori was able to donate her corneas.
There will be a celebration of her life at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 19, 2017, at the Liberty Learning Center, 2425 N. Texas St., Fairfield, California. Please come and share a story about Tori. A reception to follow at the Center.
