McCollum, Jack Roe Sr.Jack Roe McCollum Sr., 87, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 9th, 2016 at his home in Anaheim, CA. Jack was born on April 12, 1928 in El Paso, TX to William and Beulah McCollum (deceased). Jack is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Josephine (Jo) McCollum; children, Jack and his wife Cecilia of Charlotte, NC, Nancy Miller and her husband Robert of Waco, TX, and Judy Spinelli and husband Albert of St Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Johanna Bowman (Jayson), Robert McCollum (Jen), and Katie McCollum, Keisha and Nicole Spinelli; and six great grandchildren, Kristina and Kayla Bowman, Angelina Blea, Savannah Boardman, and Damian and Dominic Spinelli. He is also survived by his brother Robert McCollum, sister Helen Landgraf, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Jack was an army veteran, a great athlete, a fantastic bowler (300 game at age 79!), loved to entertain his young grandchildren by playing the guitar and making up songs for them. He was a decent, honest, hard-working man who dedicated his life to his family and was loved and respected by all who knew him. A private memorial service in celebration of his life will be held in March.
