June Taylor, 85, passed away Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, in Fairfield, California, at David Grant Medical Center, Travis AFB. June was born June 4, 1932, in Russellville, Kentucky, to Barclay and Bertha Head. June was one of eight brothers and sisters. On July 11, 1953, she married the love of her life, Robert G. Taylor, in Pittsburg, California. They were happily married for 64 years, until the time of her passing.

June was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Fairfield, California, and a lifelong member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Fairfield, California. June loved to antique shop and was an avid collector of antiquities. She also enjoyed bowling in her younger years as well as making crafts and attending craft fairs with her husband.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert G. Taylor of Fairfield, California; her sons, Michael (Debbie) Taylor of Elk Grove, California, and Barry (Cindy) Taylor of Olivehurst, California.

June was a dedicated wife. She was also a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

June’s visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home, 1850 W. Texas St., Fairfield, California. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, also at Bryan-Braker Funeral Home. Graveside service to follow the funeral at 11:30 a.m. at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. after the graveside, at the Loyal Order of Moose, 623 Taylor St., Fairfield, California.
