— January 1, 2016
Ina Lea Crabtree-Parker passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of January 1, 2016. She fought a courageous battle against cancer. Ina Lea was born in Taft, California in 1936 where she grew up, went to school, and met her husband Troy Parker. Troy and Ina Lea have been married for 57 years and were able to celebrate a very fun and exciting camping trip with the family to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Ina Lea loved to spend time making beautiful, handmade cards to give to others including a card gift program for those in the military.
She loved her family very much and left a legacy behind that included 5 children (4 surviving), 10 grand-children, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous close, thoughtful friends that were always thought of as family. Ina Lea was not much for fanfare and requested a family gathering instead of a public service. The family will be gathering for a private celebration of life at a later date.
Ina Lea was a firm supporter of the Salvation Army, so in lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be considered instead.http://www.bakersfield.com/image/2016/01/10/1500x1500_q90_p1/14052404-I-Parker-jpg.jpgYou can find the complete original obituary on this website.
