Horton, Susie, 93, passed away January 10, 2016, and is finally home with her Lord and many loved ones that preceded her. Born July 8, 1922, in Arkansas, she migrated to Southern California in the World War II era and lived in Orange for 59 years. Susie is survived by one sister, one daughter, three grandchildren and one great-grandson, as well as many in-laws, nephews and nieces. Susie was an aircraft welder, a YWCA youth director, church youth director, school district food service manager and caterer. Susie’s biggest accomplishment, however, is having lived her life in constant and energetic service for her Lord and those around her. Her shining example of a life well lived will be missed by all.
