Cozza, Frank R., 88, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2016, surrounded by family and friends at his Anaheim home. He was born in New York on December 5, 1927 and moved to Anaheim in 1945. Frank served in the United States Marine Corps for 9 years, followed by The Anaheim City Police Department for 17 years. He was also the owner of Mama Cozza’s Italian Restaurant, which last year celebrated its 50th anniversary. Frank is survived by 3 siblings, 10 children, 25 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Public Viewing will be on January 26, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Hilgenfeld Mortuary 120 E. Broadway, Anaheim, CA 92805. A Mass in celebration of Frank’s life will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Saint Justin Martyr Church 2050 W. Ball Rd. Anaheim, CA 92804. PRIVATE INTERMENT. The Family will be having a memorial reception to follow at Mama Cozza’s 2170 W. Ball Rd. Anaheim, CA 92804 from 6:00 – 10:00 PM.
