Norma Jeanne Carter Norma Jeanne Carter, born in 1924 in San Francisco, CA, passed into her next journey, January 9, 2016, very peacefully. Her life was full as she was a model, postmaster in Clearlake Park and retired as a real estate broker for Redbud Realty. Norma moved to Clearlake Park in 1957. She was known as The Grand Lady of the Lake. She was just as beautiful inside as she was outside. She married David Carter in 1964. He was her constant caregiver until her death. Dave owned a heavy equipment business in Lake County. She will be missed by so many as her generosity touched anyone in need. Norma is survived by her husband, David Carter, daughter, Noranne White Parente, two grand-daughters Angelina Parente McDonald and Amanda Parente Shilling, and three great-grandchildren. If you listen closely you can hear Norma whispering “I love you” to everyone she knew. A celebration of life will be held January 30, 2016, at 2 p.m., 13371 Lakeshore Dr., Clearlake Park.
