Louise “Weezy” Bargagliotti, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2015 with her husband of 50 years, Marvin, and her daughters, Sherry and Vicki, by her side. She was born on December 27, 1944 in Hayward. Louise was a Hayward girl at heart, growing up in Russell City on a hog ranch and then later moving into town. She graduated from All Saints Catholic School and Bishop O’Dowd High School where she met lifelong friends.
She lived the last 50 years of her life in San Lorenzo where she was active in her daughters’ many school and community activities. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Pauline Santucci, in-laws, Eldred and Palmira Bargagliotti, brother-in-law, Ray Bargagliotti, and her two wild and crazy beagle dogs, Jasper and Jefferson.
Louise was a supportive and incredible Mom, Wife, and friend who lived life to its fullest and loved her family, friends, Hayward Chamber of Commerce volunteer work (she was 2013 Volunteer of the Year), belonging to the Red Hat Society and Fratellanza Women’s Club, spending time in Jackson, CA, traveling, the color red, and a good party!
Louise is survived by her loving husband, Marvin, her adoring daughters, Sherry Carpenter and Vicki Bargagliotti, her wonderful sisters, Alberta Zmarzly and Polly Santucci, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and god children. Louise was a proud and loving “Noney” to her beloved granddaughter, Ava Bozzone. She was a supportive mother-in-law to Jeff Carpenter and Dean Banks (soon-to-be) and sister-in-law to Fred Zmarzly, Jeff Knopow, and Lynn Bargagliotti.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Louise’s life, beginning with funeral services, on Monday, January 11, at 10:30 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 22824 Second Street, Hayward, and following with a reception at Hayward Area Historical Society at 22380 Foothill Blvd., Hayward.
Private burial at Mt. Eden Cemetery at a later date.
