Avesani, MichelaMichela Avesani (nee’ Colonello), 85, longtime resident of Newport Beach, California, passed away January 3rd, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Susanna, her son Andrea, and her daughter Guia, as well as granddaughters Veronica and Angela, and great-grandchildren Chanel and Orlando.

Born in Lahore when it was still part of India, to parents of Italian origin, Miss Avesani returned to Italy before the onset of WWII where she married and raised her children. After arriving in the USA in the 1970’s Michela served her community as a registered nurse for over thirty years. Active in her Church, Our Lady Queen Of Angels, she was an avid organizer and volunteer for many church functions, including services and charity events. She was also a major donor to Catholic missions and orphanages in Pakistan and India, in particular the Mission of Faisalabad that specializes in treating children with Polio.

Service will be conducted Saturday, January 16th at 11:00 AM at “Our Lady Queen of Angeles” Newport Beach, CA.
