Raymond John Alessio died on December 12, 2015 at the age of 89. He was born on March 15, 1926 in Plainville, Connecticut. At age 12 his family relocated to Gilroy, California and then to San Jose. After serving in the U.S. Army, he married Dora Panelli in 1949 and moved to Campbell. There they raised three daughters Sue, Jan, and Cathy. He worked with his father and co-owned the 49er Inn on West San Carlos, a workingman’s bar named after the California Gold Rush Miners! He will be remembered for his generosity, kind spirit and STORYTELLING! He is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Dora and his parents. He is survived by his three daughters, five granddaughters, one great granddaughter, his sister Gloria and many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. A Mass in his intention will be held at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church on Jan. 17, 2016 at 7am. Friends and Family are invited to a Celebration Of His Life to be held on January 17th from 12-4pm at his home in Campbell.
