Acquistapace, Roxanne Martin

Roxanne Martin Acquistapace
Dec. 12, 1946 – Dec.9, 2015
Resident of Santa Cruz
Roxanne Acquistapace passed away peacefully on December 9th at her home in Santa Cruz, California. Roxanne meant so many different things to so many different people. To some, she was a tireless advocate for those in need, especially to children, the homeless and animals. She was selfless; many times giving her last dollar to those who needed it more. To others, she was a creative force; teaching belly dancing, practicing her art and even restoring a treasured public fountain in her hometown of Santa Barbara. And to many, she was simply a ready-for-anything friend; happy for an adventure, or just a relaxed cup of coffee by the beach that she loved so very much.
But to everyone, Roxanne will be lovingly remembered for her big smile, passionate beliefs, kind heart and unique sense-of-humor.
Roxanne is survived by her son, Kyle; daughters Alicia and Liz; seven grandchildren; her mother, Clara and sisters, Karan & Melanie. She also leaves behind her beloved dog & loyal companion, David.
